MY REMINISCENCE OF LAKNAVARAM LAKE

      My Reminiscence of Laknavaram Lake – My life

 Lakhnavaram Lake, located in Govindaraopet Mandal about 70 kilometers away from Warangal, Telangana state. Lakhnavaram is a trending picnic spot. The sun sets, casting a crimson aura above the waters of Laknavaram Lake which transforms it into golden pearl hues letting the birds know the night is about to fall. Such is the exquisite beauty of a place nestled among ornamental mountains thick in vegetation cover. 

 The recent years of tourism has been changing its course to more greener and sustainable options and this has brought Laknavaram Lake into the centre stage of ecotourism with a blend of thrill and adventure. Laknavaram Lake was discovered by the ancient Kakatiya dynasty who stumbled upon this enormous water body surrounded by the lush green Yetur Nagaram forest. A chain of tiny islands floated on this lake. The pristine ecology was used for irrigation to nearby fields and since then the originality of the place has been preserved. 

 I’ve learnt that the lake is a home to more than 200 species of migratory and indigenous birds for many years. This place is a famous spot for birdwatching. The area altogether becomes much more mesmerizing when the rainwater floods the lake and its surrounding channels. The lake is an exceptional thing of beauty. The lake was formed by closing three narrow valleys. Each valley is replaced with a short bund, and hills act as their natural barrier. An added advantage is that the lake takes shelter in isolated surroundings, and this makes your holiday very private. 

 The entire region seems bountiful with green crops and pleasant water resources. An added attraction to this mystic beauty is the suspension bridge (see my picture). The hanging bridge takes you to the mini-island in the lake. This breathtakingly beautiful lake has now become an amazing tourist spot in Telangana. The tourism department, to ensure that tourist enjoy their best, has made this place convenient to everyone with its convenient packages. 

 You will enjoy your holiday in the lap of nature’s highly blessed spot, Laknavaram Lake at a very affordable price. The authorities maintaining the lake also provide a boat riding facility which will take you close to the most serene part of the lake. The tourists can enjoy the untouched scenic beauty of the lake while riding on the mesmerizing lake. They can get a close glimpse of the artistic creation of Mother Nature. The boats available are built to facilitate every necessity of the tourists and can accommodate many people without causing any inconvenience. The best time to visit Laknavaram Lake is around the year. The climate is cool with a little rise in temperature during the daytime. However, visiting this place during the winter and monsoon season is advised. The heavy monsoon rains add to this place's greenery and fill the lake's summer-dried channels with fresh water.
